The game has catchy music that I personally have not got tired of hearing and the game really nails the ambience, this feels like a wind-down light strategy game after work and not a 4X grand-strategy cluster♥♥♥♥. With the way unlock decorations you go from a stone late-medieval period to the start of the industrial days like Napoleonic times with higher quality looking brick walls and tiled mosaic floors from rickety wood/ stone floors. ![]() What this game does right is great attention to item and character models, including wall and floor textures. The game definitely needs work mechanically but will be far better if the devs are willing to dig deep and make a better game. ![]() There is no teaching system for new staff or a damn hierarchy, there should be a head chef/waiter mechanic which gives bonues to the type of employee based on their class. The game has virtually no story, just tutorials teaching you mechanics. There is a very basic calander system which could be updated with Skyrim style month or special days apart from events. Your employees are like zombies, none ever have to go on vacation or get injured but will leave if they don't get a bonus based their level going from 1-10 and deal with fires if they occur. There is a glitch were your waitresses/bartender to a continuous walking animation on the spot until they start serving customers.Īs a bartender/waiter irl and a former commis chef (lowest ranking chef) who studied business admin for 1 year in college I was hoping for more numbers, the game falls into a simple loop, refill your kegs (drink barrels) and refill your raw food chests. I don't like how characters models that look like peasents and look broke like the varied model of the white long beared dude who is bare foot afford my 700+ gold luxury hotel rooms per night as there are specific models for higher value customers (game has a ranking for different value customers-in settings) such as the prince, king, queen and wizard models. ![]() After beating this game to a 100% this game is what it says on the tin, a management strategy game, personally this game should embrace it's fantasy style by giving you demihuman customers Warhammer style, Apart from very basic looking elves, there are no dwarfs drinking your bar dry or greenskins causing fights for your guard who patrols at night to catch thieves to break it up, which would be a welcome break from the fire event that can go up to 4-8% risk with the best wax, that is if you want full lighting for customers to sit down and interact in all areas.
